Speyside’s Benromach Distillery has released their first triple distilled single malt whisky. The appropriately named Benromach Triple Distilled is an eight-year-old matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and said to have notes of fruit. The Benromach Triple Distilled is available in Europe and the UK for $60 per bottle.

Ardbeg Releases An Oa
Ardbeg has released an Islay single malt whisky called An Oa (pronounced “an oh” and named after a region near the distillery). Ardbeg An Oa was matured in both Pedro Ximenes casks and ex-bourbon barrels and was bottled at 46.6% alcohol by volume [93.2 proof] and is said to have both sweet and smoky notes. Ardbeg An Oa is available for $70 per bottle beginning in September 2017.

Healeys Launches Cornish Gold
Healeys has launched a “new” premium cider called Cornish Gold – the cider is not exactly new as it originally debuted in 1980 – but has been re-launched using the same 30-year-old recipe but has also supplemented the original 4.5% blend with an Oak Matured 6.2% partner version. Healeys Cornish Gold is available in the UK for £2.39/$3 per bottle with the Oak Matured available for £2.49/$3.25 per bottle.
