Port Ellen Celebrates Anniversary
Islay-based Port Ellen Distillery is celebrating their 200th anniversary by releasing a 42-year-old whisky.
The Port Ellen 200th Anniversary Edition whisky is said to contain notes of berries, red apple and, of course, smoke.
Only 150 bottles of Port Ellen 200th Anniversary Edition are being made available in October 2025 – at Port Ellen’s distillery on Islay – for the bargain price of $10,000 per bottle.
