Ricky Gervais Opens Dutch Barn Doors And Expands Into Whisky
UK actor/comedian Ricky Gervais has stepped outside the Dutch Barn vodka doors and expanded into whisky – via his co-owned North Yorkshire distillery, Ellers Farm – with the debut single malt English whisky called Three Ridings.
Ellers Farm Distillery, based in Stamford Bridge, Yorkshire, was established in 2021 and in addition to Dutch Barn vodka, also produces a pair of gins [Y-Gin and 6 O’Clock] as well as some liqueurs.
Three Ridings whisky will be released later in 2026 with alcohol by volume at 57.9% [115.8 proof] and will be made available via the official website.
Gervais, who became co-owner of the distillery in November 2023, commented on Three Ridings: “I love working with people who care more about doing something properly than doing it quickly. Three Ridings is the result of the pursuit of excellence, and I am very proud of what we have created.”
