Shindo Unveils Debut Whisky
Japan’s Shindo Distillery has released Shindo Experimental 01 – the debut single malt whisky from the family-owned distillery founded in 2021.
Shindo Experimental 01 Single Malt whisky was born from non-peated malted barley, was matured in a quartet of casks – ex-bourbon (91%), virgin Mizunara (4%), Oloroso sherry (4%) and re-fill Scotch (1%) – before being bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof].
Shindo Experimental 01 Single Malt is being made available for $85 per bottle.
