Suntory Reformulates Yamazaki 25
Suntory has re-formulatedtheir Yamazaki 25-year-old single malt whisky by sharing the aging process among three types of oak casks – American, Spanish and Japanese mizunara – as they have already done with their 12-year-old and 18-year-old Yamazaki whiskies.
Suntory Yamazaki 25 Single Malt Whisky has been bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and the re-formulation has been said to provide notes of ginger, persimmon and and Satsuma orange.
Suntory Yamazaki 25 Single Malt Whisky is being made available for $2,000 per 750ml bottle.
