Talisker Issues 43-Year-Old Atlantic Challenge

Talisker – based on the Isle of Skye – has issued the lengthy-named 43-Year-Old Xpedition – The Atlantic Challenge limited edition single malt Scotch whisky celebrating the year when the distillery’s MacAskill brothers rowed from the Isle of Eigg to the Isle of Skye and established the Talisker Distillery.

The 43-Year-Old Talisker Xpedition – The Atlantic Challenge was drawn from 10 casks, bottled at 49.7% alcohol by volume [99.4 proof] and is said to contain notes of pepper, sea salt and smoke.

Only 1,830 bottles of 43-Year-Old Talisker Xpedition – The Atlantic Challenge limited edition single malt Scotch whisky are being made available beginning in June 2021 for $4,875 per 700ml bottle.
