The Glenlivet Finds Its Jamaican Groove
The Glenlivet’s have unveiled Jamaica Edition – the debut release in their new “Beyond Speyside” series — referring to the Speyside region in Scotland, where the country’s highest concentration of distilleries are located.
The Glenlivet 12-Year-Old Jamaica Edition was finished in casks that previously held Jamaican rum, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and is said to contain notes of caramel, coconut and pineapple.
The Glenlivet 12-Year-Old Jamaica Edition is being made available in the USA for $55 per bottle.
