EH Taylor Joins Antique Collection
Buffalo Trace Distillery has added Colonel EH Taylor Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon to their Antique Collection on the the 25th anniversary of the collection.
The Colonel EH Taylor Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon permanently joins the collection’s five other entries: Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, George T Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Thomas H Handy Sazerac Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, Sazerac 18-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and William Larue Weller Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
Colonel EH Taylor is considered the ‘father of modern Bourbon’ and is thought to have played a significant role in the passage of the Bottled-in-Bond Act in 1897.
Colonel EH Taylor was matured for 15 years and four months, bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to impart notes of caramel, cherry and vanilla.
Colonel EH Taylor Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Antique Collection is being made available nationwide in the USA for $150 per bottle.
