The Glenlivet Reveals 40 Year Old
The Glenlivet has released The Glenlivet 40 Years Old – a new 40-year-old Scotch whisky – just after celebrating the distillery’s 200th anniversary.
The Glenlivet 40 Years Old was finished in a blend of seasoned Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, bottled at 46.9% alcohol by volume [93.8 proof] and is said to offer notes of apple, cherry, cinnamon, dark chocolate and licorice.
The Glenlivet 40 Years Old is being made available for $6,000 per bottle.
