The Macallan Branches Out To Offer Tree Of Life
Speyside distillery The Macallan has released a pair of limited edition single malts – The Tree of Life and Art of the Flower – celebrating Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
The 46-year-old The Tree of Life by The Macallan originated in two sherry-seasoned casks, was bottled at 46.2% alcohol by volume [92.4 proof] and is said to impart notes of oak, peat and tropical fruits.
Only a mere 112 Lalique crystal decanters of The Tree of Life are being made available through invitation from The Macallan, with price available upon application.
Meanwhile, The Macallan Art of the Flower, grew from sherry-seasoned European oak casks, was bottled at 50.4% alcohol by volume [100.8 proof] and is said to impart notes of almond, cherry and fig.
The Macallan Art is the Flower is being made available beginning on May 6, 2025.
