The Macallan Launches Coconuts
Speyside-based The Macallan goes coconuts with The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut and The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Toasted Coconut – the final duo of whiskies for their Harmony Collection.
Both single malt Scotch whiskies were matured in sherry seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon barrels and are said to impart notes of, of course, coconut, along with citrus and vanilla for The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut and caramel and chocolate for The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Toasted Coconut.
Additionally, both single malt Scotch whiskies are presented in packaging made from discarded coconut fibers.
Both The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut and The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Toasted Coconut are being made available for $190 per 700ml bottle – with The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut being made available directly from the distillery in Speyside as well as throughout the UK while The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Toasted Coconut can be found at worldwide travel retail venues in select airports.
