Tobermory Distillery Unveils 10-Year-Old Ledaig
Isle of Mull-based Tobermory Distillery has released Ledaig Hebridean Moon – their first cask-strength Ledaig 10-year-old peated single malt – inspired by the Isle of Mull’s ancient moon-tracking Baliscate Stones and the first aged whisky release emanating from the distillery’s newest 11-year-old stills.
Tobermory Distillery’s Ledaig Hebridean Moon was matured for more than a decade in second-fill bourbon casks, bottled at a whopping 58.8% alcohol by volume [117.6 proof] and is said to produce notes of candied fruit, oak and peat.
Only 7000 bottles of Tobermory Distillery’s Ledaig Hebridean Moon are being made available beginning on May 12, 2025, for $115 per 700ml bottle.
