World’s Largest Johnnie Walker Collection Goes On The Block
The world’s largest collection of Johnnie Walker whiskies – dubbed ‘The Johnnie Walker Collection: One Hundred Years of Striding’ – is going on the auction block next month.
The collection includes more than 3,200 Johnnie Walker items, which consists of 1,600 full-size bottles; 600 miniatures; 1,000 advertisements and pieces of memorabilia; 280 Blue Label bottlings; 200 Red Label bottlings; 500 Black Label bottlings; and more than 100 pre-1968 corked Black, Red and Swing bottlings.
Californian collector Frans Op den Kamp assembled the collection over two decades
Highlights amongst the items include the 1805 Celebration Blend [only 200 bottles were made available for this commemoration of the 200th anniversary of John Walker’s birth and the exclusive Signature Blend by former Formula One world champion, Jenson Button, of which only a mere 25 bottles were made available by private invitation.
Scotland-based auction house Whisky Auctioneer will hold the sale from September 11-21, 2026.
