The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery has released a Moscatel-finished single malt whisky – Filey Bay Moscatel Finish.
The Spirit of Yorkshire Filey Bay Moscatel Finish single malt was initially matured in bourbon casks in 2016, then transferred to Spanish Moscatel hogsheads to finish, before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of fruit and spice.
Only 6,000 bottles of The Spirit of Yorkshire Filey Bay Moscatel Finish are being made available for $75 per bottle.
However, with the current coronavirus outbreak affecting distribution, the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery will make The Spirit of Yorkshire Filey Bay Moscatel Finish available to pre-order now – via their website: spiritofyorkshire.com – and will ship the whisky to customers once they are allowed to do so [with free delivery to UK mainland customers].
