Glen Scotia Releases 18-Year-Old
Campbeltown whisky distillery Glen Scotia has released an 18-Year-Old single malt whisky.
Glen Scotia – one of only three distilleries remaining from the Campbeltown region once known as the ‘whisky capital of the world’ during the 19th Century has produced their 18-Year-Old single malt whisky after maturing it in oak casks for a minimum of 17 years before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks for 12 months before bottling at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof]. Glen Scotia 18-Year-Old is said to contain floral notes as well as toffee, fruit and vanilla.
Glen Scotia 18-Year-Old is available in Belgium, Germany, Poland, Taiwan and the UK for $110 per bottle.
