24-Year-Old Single Malt Found In Sullivan’s Cove
Tasmania-based distillery Sullivans Cove has released a 24-year-old single malt – known only as HH0005 – finished in Apera casks that is thought to be one of the oldest Australian single malt whiskies.
Sullivan’s Cove HH0005 was originally matured in an American oak cask, then finished to an ex-Apera cask for seven years before being bottled at 51.1% alcohol by volume [102.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of citrus, oak and vanilla.
Sullivans Cove HH0005 is being made available for a mere $1,460 per bottle.
