Bruichladdich Launches Pair Of Whiskies For Festival
Islay-based Bruichladdich Distillery has released a pair of limited edition whiskies – Octomore Polyphonic and Port Charlotte Single Cask Rock’ndaal – for the upcoming Fèis Ìle Festival (May 23-31, 2025), including its oldest Octomore to date.
Octomore Polyphonic is a heavily peated whisky matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, bottled at 54.9% alcohol by volume [109.8 proof] and is said to produce notes of coffee, dark chocolate and, of course, Octomore’s ‘inimitable’ peat smoke.
Only a mere 2,500 bottles of Octomore Polyphonic are being made available for $395 per bottle.
Meanwhile, Bruichladdich Distillery’s second Fèis Ìle exclusive is the Port Charlotte Single Cask Rock’ndaal 2025 Edition, the 19-year-old was matured in a Moscatel sherry cask, bottled at 53.3% alcohol by volume [106.6 proof] and is said to produce notes of brown sugar, oak and, of course, Port Charlotte’s signature barbecue peat smoke.
Only a scant 667 bottles of Port Charlotte Single Cask Rock’ndaal 2025 Edition are being made available for $365 per bottle.
Both Octomore Polyphonic and Port Charlotte Single Cask Rock’ndaal 2025 Edition will be available to purchase online at the official Bruichladdich website.
