The Name Is Bond…Bond House No. 1
Glenmorangie, for our money, offers some of the best tasting and most affordable whiskies out there, has released a vintage collection you may want to consider splurging for called Bond House No.1 – a collection of limited-edition releases from the distillery’s reserves. The first release in the collection is Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1990.
Glenmorangie’s Bond House No. 1 series refers to the 19th century practice of bonded warehouses and Glenmorangie’s Bond House No. 1 being the largest and home to some of the most diverse of their whisky offering. Bond House No. 1 was changed to a new copper still house in 1990 and Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1990 is one of the first whiskies to emerge from that location.
Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1990 was bottled at 86 proof [43% alcohol by volume] and is said to contain notes of honey, mandarin and vanilla.
Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1990 is available for $610 per bottle.
