Templeton Rye Reveals 2020 Version Of Barrel Strength

There is not much good news in the world today with coronavirus lurking around every corner, but now there is a bit of good news as Iowa-based Templeton Rye distillery has released the 2020 version their Barrel Strength straight rye whiskey [which was debuted in 2018].

The 2020 Templeton Rye Barrel Strength was created by combining barrels to produce a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, which was then bottled at 56.55% alcohol by volume [113.1 proof] and is said to contain notes of cinnamon, orange and toffee.

The 2020 Templeton Rye Barrel Strength straight rye whiskey is being made available in the USA for $60 per 750ml bottle.
