Boann Debuts Solstice Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Ireland-based Boann Distillery has released Solstice – their inaugural single pot still Irish whiskey – timed to mark the recent winter solstice (December 21).

Boann Solstice is a three-year-old Irish whiskey initially distilled in a single pot still then was matured in a wide variety of wine and spirit casks, including Armagnac, Bourdeaux, Chardonnay, Marsala, Moscatel, Pedro Ximénez (PX), Sauternes, and rum.

Boann Solstice Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is said to offer notes of banana bread, cinnamon buns and peach.
