Writers’ Tears Issues Vintage Cask Strength

Irish whiskey Writers’ Tears has released their 2023 Vintage Cask Strength – their 13th edition of the Cask Strength series.

Writers’ Tears 2023 Cask Strength Irish whiskey is a blend of aged single pot still and single malt whiskies – both spending time in American oak ex-bourbon barrels – bottled at 54.8% alcohol by volume [109.6 proof] and is said to offer notes of caramel, ginger, hazelnut and honey.

Only 8,700 bottles of Writers’ Tears Irish whiskey are being made available across select markets worldwide – with 1,800 bottles distributed in the USA and 6,900 allocated to markets including Asia, Canada, France, Ireland, South Africa and the UK.
