Woodford Reserve Doubles Down On Oaked Rye

Woodford Reserve has released Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye – a twice-barreled rye – expanding their Double Oaked line alongside Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye is composed of matured Kentucky straight rye whiskey, re-barreled for 12 months in a second virgin oak barrel, bottled at 45.1% alcohol by volume (90.2 proof) and is said to contain notes of caramel, espresso, lemon custard, and candied pecan.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye is being made available in the USA for $55 per 750ml bottle.
