The GlenAllachie Doubles Down With Sinteis Series
Speyside distillery The GlenAllachie has released the second edition of their Sinteis Series of single malt whiskies, which emphasize the dual maturation process, specifically, using virgin oak and traditional sherry casks. The series is named after the Scottish Gaelic word for synthesis.
The GlenAllachie Sinteis Series Part II is a 10-year-old single malt whisky matured in a combination of Scottish virgin oak and Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at cask strength of 58.2% alcohol by volume [116.4 proof] and is said to impart notes of citrus, mocha and orchard fruits.
The GlenAllachie Sinteis Part ll is being made available worldwide for $90 per bottle.
