Bladnoch Has More Stories To Tell
Bladnoch has more stories to tell with the release of Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch, Chapter Two – the second chapter in The Stories of Bladnoch series which highlights single malt whiskies selected by individuals who have connections with the distillery, which is the Scotland’s oldest private distillery. Loch Maberry was selected by Elizabeth Cobbett, the great-great-granddaughter of Thomas McClelland, who along with his brother John, founded the distillery at Bladnoch more than 200 years ago.
Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch, Chapter Two was distilled in 2006, matured in a sherry butt cask, bottled at 48.6% alcohol by volume [97.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of almond, coffee and chocolate.
Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch Chapter Two is being made available for $200 per bottle from the official website [Bladnoch.com].
