Rebel Root Beer Bourbon Resurfaces

Kentucky-based Rebel Bourbon has brought back a root beer-flavored bourbon whiskey to their lineup.

Rebel Root Beer whiskey originally surfaced in 2016, went away, and is now returning as a bourbon whiskey using Rebel’s Straight Bourbon Whiskey as a base, then flavoring it with root beer elements. The result is bottled at 35% alcohol by volume [70 proof] and is said to invoke classic root beer notes of licorice, molasses, sassafras and vanilla.

Rebel Root Beer Whiskey is being made available for $20 per bottle.
