Glencadam Debuts Calvados Cask Whisky
Highland-based Glencadam has released a new limited edition 17-year-old single malt whisky finished in Calvados casks.
Glencadam’s new limited edition 17-year-old Réserve de Calvados cask finish was matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, finished in Calvados barrels from Normandy, France, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to offer notes of apples [of course] along with almond, butterscotch, chamomile, honey and vanilla.
Only 6,360 bottles of Glencadam Réserve de Calvados 17-year-old single malt whisky are being made available for $190 per bottle.
