Lark Reveals Single Malts
Tasmania-based Lark whisky distillery has released a new quartet of single malt whiskies – Cinder Forest, Devil’s Storm, Fire Trail and Ruby Abyss aimed at emphasizing the ‘wild beauty, elemental power and creative freedom’ of the island of Tasmania, located off the south coast of Australia.
Three of Lark’s four new single malts – Devil’s Storm, Fire Trail and Ruby Abyss – will be available worldwide while the fourth, Cinder Forest, will be available exclusively via global travel retail (GTR) venues at select international airports.
Lark Cinder Forest has spent time maturing in both first-fill Port and sherry casks and is said to contain notes of chocolate, citrus, honey and the ubiquitous vanilla and honey.
Lark Devil’s Storm was also matured in first-fill Port and sherry casks, finished in American oak, and is said to offer notes of almond, chocolate and red fruit.
Lark Fire Trail was matured in Port and sherry casks and is said to impart notes of citrus, fruit and smoked applewood.
Lark Ruby Abyss was matured in first-fill Port and sherry casks and is said to give notes brown sugar, dark fruits, mocha and peat smoke.
Lark’s newest single malts have already made their debut in Malaysia and Singapore but will continue their worldwide roll-out thorough 2026.
