Johnnie Walker has brought out Black Cask, a new blend concocted to combine the best elements of both bourbon and Scotch whisky in one bottle.
Johnnie Walker Black Cask is a blended Scotch whisky aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and is said to offer notes of caramel, oak, spice and vanilla.
Johnnie Walker Black Cask is being touted as a whisky to be enjoyed neat or over ice, as well as mixed in classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned.
Johnnie Walker Black Cask is being made available in the USA for $35 per 750ml bottle.
