Loch Lomond Tees Off With Whiskies
Loch Lomond is ready to tee of to celebrate the upcoming 154th Open golf championship with the release of a pair of single malt whiskies for the event being held from July 12-19, 2026 at the the Royal Birkdale course in Southport in the UK. Loch Lomond is an official partner for The Open.
For this year’s 154th Open, Loch Lomond has brought The Open Course Collection 2026 and The Open Course Special Edition 2026 to the tee box.
The Loch Lomond Open Course Collection 2026 is a 19-year-old single malt whisky matured in American oak, finished for six months in Tawny Port casks, bottled at 46.9% alcohol by volume [93.8 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, cinnamon and vanilla.
Meanwhile, the Loch Lomond Open Special Edition 2026 is a collaboration with Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie and was matured in American oak, finished for six months in Argentinian Malbec casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of fruit, honey, smoke and spice.
The Loch Lomond Open Course Collection 2026 is being made available for $265 per bottle while The Loch Lomond Open Course Special Edition 2026 is being made available for $60 per bottle.
