Blade And Bow 12-Year-Old Takes A Bow
Kentucky-based Blade and Bow has released a new blended bourbon – 12-Year Solera Reserve – as an annual limited release. Blade and Bow 12-Year Solera Reserve was created at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville.
Blade and Bow 12-Year Solera Reserve was blended using a Solera finishing process in a quartet of wine and spirit barrels: Cognac, Bordeaux, Moscatel, and Port – and is a blend of straight Kentucky Bourbon whiskies, bottled at 52% alcohol by volume [104 proof] and is said to contain notes of cherry, honey, spice and vanilla.
Blade and Bow 12-Year-Old Solera Reserve is being made available for $65 per 750ml bottle in select markets across the USA.
