The Macallan Shows Up At Harrods

Speyside-based The Macallan has ventured outside their travel retail venue comfort zone – sorta – by opening a boutique in London luxury department store, Harrods – their first-ever UK boutique outside of travel retail.

The Macallan’s new boutique occupies a space on Harrods’ ground floor and will offer a range of rare and limited-edition whiskies, including 100 bottles of The Macallan Rare Cask 2026 featuring commemorative illustrations by Spanish artist Javi Aznárez that will be offered to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.

For those concerned about potential proper whisky etiquette and knowledge, the staff for the boutique is comprised of Edrington [The Macallan’s owners] and specially-trained Harrods employees.

The Macallan boutique at Harrods in London’s Knightsbridge will be open from 10am to 9pm daily.

The Macallan also operates boutiques in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York and Singapore.
