Barton 1792 Doubles Down
Kentucky-based Barton 1792 Distillery has released a pair of new additions – a Kentucky Straight Rye and XV, a 15-year-old cask strength bourbon – to their lineup.
Barton 1792 Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is the distillery’s first-ever straight rye product uses rye from Europe and North America, was bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to contain notes of cinnamon, fruit and spice.
Barton 1792 Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is being made available in select markets for $40 per 750ml bottle.
Meanwhile, Barton 1792 XV is the distillery’s oldest age statement offering to date after having spent 15 years maturing in virgin American oak casks, then was bottled at 62.1% alcohol by volume [124.2 proof] and is said to boast notes of caramel, cocoa, dark cherry and vanilla.
Barton 1792 XV is being made available exclusively in select travel retail venues for $250 per one-liter bottle.
