Berry Bros Goes Auld And Bold
London-based Berry Bros & Rudd has released the ‘Auld and the Bold’ – a collection of 20 single-cask whiskies [along with rums and a Cognac] intended to celebrate Scotland’s whisky traditions and a new generation of distillers – as the latest installment in Berry Bros’ Odyssey series, launched in 2024.
Berry Bros & Rudd Odyssey Auld and the Bold collection includes Scottish whiskies such as Glenlossie 1975, Glencadam 2011, Blair Athol 2011 [finished in a Viognier cask], Longmorn 2011, Glen Garioch 2011, Tamdhu 2008 as well as Caol Ila, Williamson [from Islay] and Ruadh Mhor in the Highlands.
Additionally, they are joined by Tasmania’s Lark 2016, India’s Paul John 2015, New Zealand’s Thomson 2017, England’s Spirit of Yorkshire, Denmark’s Thy 2016 and Finland’s Teerenpeli 2014.
A trio of Caribbean rums are also included – Foursquare 2011, Diamond 2003 and Caroni 1997 – along with a 35-year-old early-landed Cognac from Frapin, distilled in France in 1990 and matured in the UK.
The 2026 Berry Bros & Rudd Odyssey Auld and Bold is being made available for a range of $115 for the Blair Athol 2011 to $2,000 for the Glenlossie 1975 – all in 700ml bottles.
