Buffalo Trace Reveals Elmer T Lee Bourbon
Buffalo Trace has released an uncut and unfiltered version of their Elmer T Lee bourbon to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Elmer T Lee bourbon – named after one of the distillery’s early pioneers and creator of the first single-barrel bourbon.
Buffalo Trace 40th Anniversary Edition of Elmer T Lee was drawn directly from the barrel without dilution or chill filtration and bottled between 62.4% [124.8 proof] and 69.3% [138.6 proof] alcohol by volume and is said to create notes of almond, apricot, almond, toasted coconut and vanilla.
Buffalo Trace Elmer T Lee 40th Anniversary Edition Elmer T Lee bourbon is being made available for $100 per 750ml bottle.
