Glenmorangie Unveils 50-Year-Old

Highland-based Glenmorangie Distillery has released a 50-year-old single malt whisky – the oldest single malt to date in Glenmorangie’s history.

Glenmorangie 50 Years Old single malt whisky was matured in ex-bourbon hogshead casks along with first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, bottled at cask strength of 47.5% alcohol by volume (95 proof) and is said to contain notes of clove, nutmeg and toffee.

Only 149 containers of Glenmorangie 50 Years Old – which are being held captive in specially designed porcelain vessels – are being made available for $34,200 per porcelain vessel via the Moët Hennessy private client team.
