And They’re Off! Evan Williams Launches Kentucky Derby Bourbon Edition

Evan Williams is an official sponsor of the upcoming Kentucky Derby horse race and so it only makes sense that they hop in the saddle and take advantage of their ride by launching a special Kentucky Derby edition. What makes it a special edition is not the bourbon contained within the bottle – that is the 2006 Evan Williams Single barrel Vintage – but rather, the labeling on the outside of said bottle, which features a special Kentucky Derby Festival logo, a hangtag providing details of the festival history and the bottle will be dipped in teal wax. All of this specialness is to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Kentucky Derby Festival.

Evan Williams Kentucky Derby Bourbon Edition is 43.3% alcohol content [86.6 proof] and available for $50 per bottle through May 2015 [while supplies last].

The Kentucky Derby will be held at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 2, 2015.
