Aussies Mr. Black And Starward Collab On Whisky Liqueur
A pair of popular Australian spirits producers – Mr. Black and Starward – have collaborated to create Double Cacao, a limited edition whisky and coffee-based liqueur.
As their contribution to the collab, Mr. Black offers infused cacao nibs from Tanzania along with their coffee liqueur, which is then blended with Starward’s gold medal-winning Peated Finish whisky to produce the Double Cacao liqueur.
The resulting product is said to offer — not surprisingly — notes of coffee and dark chocolate from the Mr. Black side and oak and smoke from the Starward side.
The Mr. Black/Starward collaboration, Double Cacao, is suggested as being sampled on the rocks or as part of a cocktail infusion.
