Bardstown Doubles Down On 2026
Bardstown Bourbon has released a pair of annual releases – 2026 Discovery and Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish – as part of their Finishing Series and Discovery Series.
Bardstown Bourbon Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish is a blend of 49% 11-year-old Indiana Bourbon, 30% 10-year-old Indiana rye and 21% 12-year-old Kentucky Bourbon, finished for 32 months in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks from the Isle of Jura in Scotland, bottled at 52% alcohol by volume [104 proof] and is said to contain notes of blackberry, caramel, cinnamon and mint.
Bardstown Bourbon 2026 Discovery is a blend of 55% 10-year-old Indiana Bourbon, 25% 11-year-old Kentucky Bourbon and 20% seven-year-old Kentucky Bourbon, finished for four months in Oregon white oak barrels, bottled at 66.4% alcohol by volume [132.8 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, cherry and cinnamon.
Both Bardstown Bourbon Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish and Bardstown Bourbon 2026 Discovery are being made available nationwide in the USA for $140 per bottle.
