Boogie Chillen Bourbon Debuts
Fret no more, Boogie Chillen Bourbon has made its official debut from John Lee Hooker Legacy Spirits and the estate of the legendary blues icon who died in 2001.
Boogie Chillen Bourbon, the Strings of Legacy: Kentucky Bourbon Collection features a quartet of eight-year, single-barrel, cask-strength bourbons – each representing a meaningful portion of Hooker’s life as symbolized by a different Gibson guitar on each label – ES-335, Les Paul Goldtop, SJ-200 and Epiphone Zephyr.
The Gibson ES-335 Boogie Chillen Bourbon single-barrel was bottled at 61.8% alcohol by volume [123.6 proof].
The Les Paul Goldtop Boogie Chillen Bourbon was bottled at a milder 61% alcohol by volume [122 proof].
The Gibson SJ-200 Boogie Chillen Bourbon was bottled at a raw 62.65% alcohol by volume [125.3 proof].
Last but not least, the Gibson Epiphone Zephyr Boogie Chillen Bourbon was bottled at 61.4% alcohol by volume [122.8 proof].
All four bourbons are being made available in the USA for $130 per 750 ml bottle.
