Bruichladdich Quadruples Down With Single Malt
Islay-based distillery Bruichladdich quadrupled down with the release of Bruichladdich X4+18 Edition 01 – a quadruple-distilled, 18-year-old single malt Scotch whisky – the world’s first-ever quadruple-distilled single malt Scotch whisky.
Bruichladdich X4+18 Edition 01 was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Rivesaltes casks, bottled at a mind-boggling 63.5% alcohol by volume [127 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricot, fig and honey.
Only 2400 bottles of Bruichladdich X4+18 Edition 01 are being made available for $295 per bottle.
