Buffalo Trace Reveals Peated Bourbon
Buffalo Trace Distillery has released their peated bourbon – a bourbon made with peated malt – as part of their Experimental Collection.
Buffalo Trace Experimental Peated Bourbon uses smoked peated malt, was matured for nearly 10 years in new charred white oak casks before being bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof] and is said to offer notes of leather, mahogany and brown butter, cacao beans, smoke and toffee.
Buffalo Trace Experimental Peated Bourbon is being made available in the USA for $47 per 375ml bottle.
