Bushmills Adds Duo To Causeway Collection For 2021

Bushmills has released a pair of whiskies to their 2021 Bushmills Causeway Collection – a 20-year-old Port Cask and Bushmills 1991 Madeira Cask.

The Bushmills Port Cask single malt was matured in first-fill ruby Port casks, bottled at 54.1% alcohol by volume [108.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of allspice, plum, raspberry and strawberry.

The Bushmills 1991 Madeira Cask was matured for more than 13 years in both a Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, before being finished in Madeira wine casks for another 15 years, then bottled at 50.2% alcohol by volume [100.4 proof] and is said to contain notes of chocolate, coffee and mandarin orange.

Only 2,322 bottles of the Bushmills Port Cask are being made available in the UK in November 2021 for $350 per 700ml bottle.

An even fewer 738 bottles of the Bushmills 1991 Madeira Cask are being made available in the UK in November 2021.
