Deanston Finishes Whisky In Orange Wine Casks

Highland-based Deanston has released Deanston Orange Wine Cask Finish 17 Year Old – a limited edition 17-year-old single malt whisky finished in Andalucían orange fortified wine casks.

Deanston Orange Wine Cask Finish 17 Year Old was matured for 15 years then finished for two years in Vino de Naranja casks from Andalucía in Spain, bottled at 53.6% alcohol by volume [107.2 proof] and is said to offer notes of almond, apricot and, of course, bitter orange from the Andalucía region in Spain.

Only 7000 bottles of Deanston Orange Wine Cask Finish 17 Year Old are being made available worldwide for $125 per bottle.
