Diageo Building Bourbon Barn In Kentucky

Spirits industry giant Diageo has revealed plans to build their own distillery in Kentucky. More specifically, Diageo – whose bourbon and whiskey brands include Bulleit, Bushmills and Crown Royal – will be building the new distillery in Shelby County, Kentucky, at a cost of $115 million.The 300-acre facility is expected to produce several hundred thousand bottles of booze per year and be home to six barrel storage facilities as well.

The new Diageo Distillery in Kentucky is scheduled to begin production sometime in late 2016.
