Falkland Debuts Whisky

Falkland Whisky has released The Falkland Collection Speyside Single Malt their first-ever single malt – which was distilled in an undisclosed Speyside distillery.

The Falkland Collection Speyside Single Malt was matured in refill Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof] and is said to contain notes of citrus, orchard fruits, honeyed malt and vanilla.

The Falkland Whisky Collection is named after Falkland in Fife, near Falkland Palace, where King James IV commissioned the first recorded distillation of ‘aqua vitae’ in 1494.
