Uncle Nearest Debuts Eighth Anniversary Master Blend
Celebrating their eighth anniversary, Tennessee-based Uncle Nearest has debuted their limited edition 2025 Master Blend Edition of Tennessee whiskey and – for the first time in the distillery’s history – the anniversary edition will be available outside of the distillery.
Bottled at 55.5% alcohol by volume for a whopping 111 proof, 2025 Uncle Nearest Master Blend Edition honors the legacy of Nearest Green – the first known African American master distiller – and it was a fifth-generation descendant of Nearest, Victoria Eady Butler, who created the blend and whose signature can be found on every bottle.
However, despite being available outside the distillery, only 8,888 bottles of 2025 Uncle Nearest Master Blend Edition are being released in 32 markets nationwide across the USA for $150 per bottle.
