Glen Grant Rolls Out Last Collect Under Malcolm
The range includes the distillery’s oldest aged expressions, including the Glen Grant 21, 25, and 30-year-old single malts. The 25 and 30-year-old single malts are new additions to the distillery’s lineup of single malts.
It is inspired by James ‘The Major’ Grant, the distillery’s founder who brought back flowers and plants from his voyages. He grew them in his Victorian-inspired glasshouse.
The collection marks the last release under the master distiller’s stewardship, Dennis Malcolm OBE, who is set to retire at the end of the month.
Stables said: “Working alongside Dennis for nearly two decades has been an incredible journey and I’m deeply grateful for his insight and guidance.

“As I become master distiller, I carry with me the lessons learned and the guiding vision imparted on this journey. I’m honored to lead The Glen Grant into this new chapter and am excited and enthused for what is to come.
“Now as we introduce these rare and aged whiskies, I am thrilled we can showcase how exceptionally The Glen Grant spirit ages over time, maintaining its character and integrity. In honor of the launch and the legacy of Dennis, I’d like to raise a toast to him with our Double Gold award-winning 25-year-old.”
Bottled at 46% ABV, Glen Grant 21-year-old represents the glasshouse’s first light and has tropical fruit and creamy butter notes. Plus, it was matured in American oak Bourbon barrels and oloroso Sherry casks in the distillery’s stone dunnage warehouse.
Likewise, the 25-year-old represents the golden hour of the setting sun. It has an ABV of 46% and notes of dried stone fruit and toffee.
In addition, The Glen Grant 30-year-old represents the twilight period when the glasshouse is bathed in moonlight. Featuring 48% ABV, its profile is described as ‘intricately layered oak, woven with hints of nectarine, honey, and dried fruit’.
The Glasshouse Collection will be available in select markets worldwide, including the US, UK, and Asia beginning in 2024.
