Glenfarclas Goes For The Gold
Speyside distillery Glenfarclas is releasing a slew of expensive and rare whiskies, including the 62-year-old Pagoda Ruby Reserve.
The Glenfarclas Pagoda Ruby Reserve is an extremely rare 1954, single sherry butt cask 62-year-old and bottled at 44.8% alcohol by volume [89.6 proof]. The Glenfarclas Ruby Reserve whisky is available in two editions: Limited Edition Silver and Collector’s Edition Gold.
Only 180 bottles of Glenfarclas Limited Edition Silver are being made available for $29,000 per 700ml bottle, as well as 62 magnums for $62,000 per magnum.
Similarly, only 50 bottles and 50 magnums of Glenfarclas Collector’s Edition Gold are being made available for $32,000 per bottle and 50 1.5-liter magnums for $68,000.
