Glenfiddich Gets A Jump On New Year’s Eve With Grand Cru Launch
It’s only October but Speyside distiller Glenfiddich is not wasting any time, they are already preparing for the New Year’s Eve with their release of Glenfiddich Grand Cru – a single malt finished for four months in French cuvee [denoting a special blend] oak casks.
Glenfiddich Grand Cru is a 23-year-old single malt, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, vanilla and, appropriately, white grape.
Glenfiddich Grand Cru is being made available in the USA for $300 per bottle.
