Green Spot Collabs With Quails’ Gate For Pinot Noir-Finished Irish Whiskey

Irish Distillers-owned Green Spot has collaborated with Canadian winery Quails’ Gate [based in British Columbia] to produce a pinot noir-finished Irish whiskey for their Wine Geese Series, which features Ireland’s contributions to the world of wine.

The limited edition Green Spot Quails’ Gate was initially matured in both American oak and ex-sherry casks before being finished for 16 months in Quails’ Gates’ pinot noir casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to offer notes of apple, cherry, cranberry, nutmeg, pear, raspberry and vanilla.

Green Spot Quails’ Gate Irish whiskey is being made available in Canada, Ireland, France, the UK and the USA for $80 per bottle.
